Last winter I had the best time ever going skiing in the US. It started when my host mom said "we're off to buy some skis". I do go skiing in Spain but the fact that I got to go in the US was so exciting.
That mornig we woke up very early to head up to the mountains. The place we were staying overnight was our friend's condo, it was such a nice place to stay in! when we got there we went to get our tickets. After that we could get on any chairlift and ski down the mountain. It was so much fun because I could go with my friends or by myself and go down on any hill.
There was only one problem, it was -20ºC degrees! Because of the cold we had to go inside the condo every couple of hours or we could freeze to death! We usually had a snak and warmed ourselves up.
It was one of the coolest things I've done while I was in the US, in fact, the cold didn't stop us from going again, we went 5 more times because we liked it so much! And hopefully I´ll go again soon.
